A slogan?

When I built my new website I was prompted to come up with  slogan. I thought for a long time and kept coming back to these three words.
 

Sing

Well, of course!  Everything starts here. Not perfection. Not performance. No expectation. Not "getting it right".

Just singing.

Using your voice as it is, today. Trying things out. Making sound. Being heard.

Once the pressure is gone, we invite curiosity.

What does this feel like?
What happens if I try it this way?
What kind of songs do I actually enjoy?

Exploring what works and feels good and allowing space for different learning styles, different brains, different voices.

This is also where confidence begins.

Connect

You connect with your voice - understanding how it works, trusting it a little more each week.

You connect with the music - shaping something meaningful.

You connect with others - an accompanist, other singers, a band, an audience.

You connect with yourself - when you sing, you are the instrument. Your whole self is part of the music. Singing has a way of shifting mood, releasing tension, and bringing you into the present moment.

Sing. Explore. Connect.

Yes. This feels right.
