Will Stevens is a seventeen-year-old baritone from Bristol who is currently studying singing and the theory of music with Allen St John.  He took part in his local village pantomime at the age of eight and has been singing and performing ever since.  In 2002 he joined St John the Baptist Church Choir in Keynsham which nurtured his interest in singing and choral music and of which he is still a regular member.  Theatre companies he has performed with include Keynsham Parish Players, Keynsham Youth Theatre, St John’s Drama Group, Merriman Theatre Group and Bristol Opera Company, all of which have provided him with opportunities to perform in a principal or solo capacity.  On top of these, he has performed a number of times in productions while studying at St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School in Bristol .  He has also sung with Bristol Cathedral Consort and Bristol Schools’ Chamber Choir.  In 2010 he adapted for pantomime, co-directed, performed in and produced a version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s ‘ Treasure Island ’ with Keynsham Parish Players which was a great success.  In the last year, Will has regularly sung as a soloist in a number of recitals and concerts covering songs from shows such as ‘Les Misérables’, ‘Chess’, ‘The Pirates of Penzance’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘South Pacific’.  In the first half of 2011, he looks forward to taking part in productions of ‘Footloose’ with Keynsham Youth Theatre, ‘Manon Lescaut’ with Bristol Opera Company and of course ‘The Magic Flute’ with the newly formed Tessitoura, amongst various other performing commitments.
