Laura Clark is a soprano based in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Laura studied for a BMus at the University of Birmingham, where she was a member of the auditioned Birmingham University Singers as well as performing as a soloist with the university jazz band and gospel choir. Previously, she was a member of the Gloucester Cathedral Youth Choir, highlights include: a live BBC broadcast of Midnight Mass and mass at St Peter's Basilica whilst touring Florence and Rome. Since graduating, she has worked as a music journalist, having spent a work experience placement at 'BBC Music Magazine' and written two published feature articles for the periodical 'Musical Opinion'. She was also selected to work as an Education Intern at Glyndebourne Opera House for the production of their BBC televised youth and community opera project 'Knight Crew'. Laura has been singing with Bristol Opera company since September 2010; prior to this she was a member of the Brighton Consort, the Celestial Sirens and New Sussex Opera: who recently performed the British premiere of Offenbach’s 'Die Rheinnixen' at Cadogan Hall, London.
